If I sign up online, how soon after can I access the gym?
If you join online, you will receive an email invitation to visit the club to complete a complimentary orientation. During your orientation, your club manager will give you a tour of the gym facilities, demonstrate how to use the training equipment correctly, explain the safety procedures and give you a 24/7 access wristband.
Are there any discounts or promotions available?
From time to time, Just Jym may offer discounts and promotions on our membership fees. You can stay up to date with our latest promotions via the Just Jym website.
When do I have to pay for my membership?
The monthly membership fee is due on the 1st of every month through the credit/debit card details indicated and authorised by you in your account.
Can I try the gym before joining?
Yes, we offer a free trial for first-timers to experience a workout in the club or simply pop by for a club tour.

Do I need to be fit before I join?
Not at all. In fact, if you’re unfit the gym is the best place for you. But one thing is certain: with our energetic and passionate training team you’ll soon be fit after joining.
Are there any additional fees or charges associated with my membership?
When you join Just Jym there is a one-off access fee of $69 for your wristband. There is also a $99 Joining Fee (or subject to current offer) for the administration of your membership. This covers the cost of setting up the membership and direct debit with our third-party billing provider.
Tip: If you choose to cancel your membership with Just Jym, keep your wristband to save the access wristband fee if you decide to rejoin.
Are there any fitness assessments or orientation sessions for new members?
Yes, every member at Just Jym will receive a complimentary orientation session if needed. During your orientation your club manager or trainer will give you a tour of the gym facilities, demonstrate how to use the training equipment correctly and explain the membership terms and safety procedures.
Are there any restrictions on when I can use the gym?
Your membership also allows you to use the gym 24/7 so you can attend outside of staffed hours. There is no waiting period so you can use any Just Jym gym immediately after joining.

Contracts & Cancellations
Can I cancel my membership if needed?
Yes, of course! We understand your lifestyle changes, if you do need to cancel your membership please contact the club. You will need to send your cancellation request via email.
Can I freeze or pause my membership if I need to take a break?
Yes, you can put your membership on hold for a minimum of 7 days and a maximum of 12 weeks per any one membership calendar year, depending on your membership type. Membership can only be frozen in 7 days intervals by continuing to pay a prevailing freeze fee.
Are there any fees for cancelling a membership?
No, there are no hidden fees when cancelling your membership at Just Jym. Just provide your 30 days notice at the end of term.
My bank details have changed, how do I update them?
You can update your bank details by contacting your club or via the Client Portal.

Is there a cancellation policy and how much notice do I need to give?
We understand that one day you might need to leave us and if that happens we want to make it as easy as possible for you. The best way to cancel your direct debit membership is to send support@justjym.sgan email. Just provide your 30 days notice at the end of term.

What if my card transaction is declined?
If this happens, you will receive a text to notify you. First, check the expiration date of your card, If this is not the cause of the rejection, contact your card provider or check their website for the following:
- Does your card have online payments activated?
- Have you exceeded your card limit or internet transaction quota?

Are there any classes or personal training options available?
Yes, classes are included in your membership, at no extra cost. We recommend contacting Just Jym to see what options are available.
Just Jym is proud to offer our expert personal training services to help you achieve your fitness goals. Please note that personal training is only available for members. When you join online or in club you can get a New Client Offer. If you're interested, please reach out to the club manager to arrange a free personal training fit-start for a 45 minutes introductory session and consultation.
I'm new to classes. Are there any I shouldn’t do?
All of our classes are suitable for all fitness levels and there is plenty of variety to ensure there’s a class to suit all training styles. Don’t be scared of trying something new. If you find it isn’t for you, simply try something else next time but you never know, you might discover a talent you never knew you had. Generally speaking, it's a good idea to try a class three times before making a call that it doesn't suit you.
Are there amenities and shower facilities available?
Yes, our gym has premium amenities and showers for our members to access.
Are there lockers available?
Yes, we have personal secured lockers to store your gym bag and belongings while you train. Just use your access wristband and tap on the locker of your choice. Please remember to clear out the lock at the end of each visit.
Who do I ask when I don’t know how to use a piece of equipment?
Our team members are always approachable and willing to teach you the correct techniques when using the equipment in our gym.
Are there any fitness or nutritional programs available?
We have free training programs available to help kickstart your fitness journey. You can access these programs via the Health Hub page.
Additional Perks & Policies
Are there any age or fitness level requirements to join?
The minimum age to join Just Jym is 16 years old. If you’re aged between 14 – 16 you must have a parent or guardian in attendance at the time of your orientation and can only attend during staffed hours.
Can I try the gym before joining?
Yes, Just Jym offers a free trial so you can test out the equipment, meet the club manager and experience your local fitness community.
How do I access the club outside of staffed hours?
You can access Just Jym 24/7. To access a Just Jym outside of staffed hours, simply scan your access wristband at the front door, this will unlock the door so you can enter the club.
Who do I approach when there are technical issues or damage to a piece of equipment?
Our team will help troubleshoot if you are having technical issues with a piece of equipment. If there are damages, please notify our team immediately so they can follow the Just Jym safety procedures.
Can I bring a guest to the gym?
Yes, but guests can only attend the club during staffed hours and can either purchase a guest pass or first-timers can register for a free trial. Please check with the club manager.
I have an injury/illness. Can I still use the gym?
Yes, but we’d recommend you get the OK from your doctor before working out. Research has shown that regular exercise can prevent, slow down and even reverse some symptoms. Our team has experience creating exercise regimes specific to injuries and illness so ask a member of the personal training team for advice and support.
How do I get a new access wristband?
We’ve got you covered! Your club can issue you a new access wristband at $69. Please contact your club during staffed hours to set up a time to get a new card. If in doubt, please double check to find if you've really lost it before replacing, as access wristbands are non-refundable.

Can I upgrade my membership if my needs change?
If your fitness goals or lifestyle change you can upgrade your membership free of charge, so you can get the most benefit out of your membership.
Are there any fitness challenges or competitions for members?
Yes, we will be hosting a Just Jym Challenge. We will typically run two challenges per year in partnership with our challenge sponsors. The prizes are awarded to one male and one female with the greatest transformational change.
Are there any additional fees for using certain equipment?
No, at Just Jym we don’t charge additional fees for equipment usage. All the equipment in your gym is included in the monthly price of your membership.
